Cotton died. I think I bought the wrong kind of food because they've not been eating it. Either that or they're too stupid to eat. Dang it. Candy is swimming circles around his corpse. I wonder if I should just put her out of the misery of being alone. Choices, choices.
OH NO!!! Poor Cotton! I'm sorry. That's really disappointing. But keep Candy! She's so pretty and shiny. Is there something wrong with the water maybe? Maybe you could buy another "Cotton".
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but this post made me laugh. My roommates always had fish and would leave them in my care when they were out of town and I always managed to kill them somehow. Hope Candy makes it. : )
ReplyDeleteI agree, Grace - it's hilarious. I'm surprised that he died. I've done really well with keeping Betta fish alive, but I think these weirdly-colored goldfish are a different matter...
ReplyDeletethey probably need a filter or air/water pump, and all that extra stuff that Betta's don't. You can always get a goldfish, they don't need much. In fact Elijah's fish that he won at the fair in October is still living...not sure how, he forgets to feed "Bubbler" all the time. :)
